Cascade Eco Wool
New sweater in progress! Here’s the Cascade Ecological wool I’m using – I think the color is called Latte. It’s a minimally processed, non-dyed natural wool. Very nice, and seems to knit up fairly quickly. I’m using my favorite Knitting Pure and Simple raglan pullover pattern, but I plan to incorporate some cabling and designs from Viking Knitting later on. Experiment, experiment. And soon it will be time for Rhinebeck. Couldn’t be happier!
Then there’s my knitting Tara. This is one of my Green Tara amulets; I like to tie it on to a large work in progress. It serves not only as a marker at the beginning of the row, but also to remind me to breathe, to take pleasure in the process, to be thoroughly involved in my knitting.

i’M SO HAPPY TO FINALLY CONNECT WITH SOMEONE WHO IS USING THIS WOOL. I BOUGHT ALOT OF IT (5 SKIENS) ON A TRIP AND HAVE STARTED A SWEATER 3 TIMES ONLY TO BE SO FRUSTRATED AT HOW IT STRETCHES WHEN MEASURING DIMENSIONS. I WANT TO MAKE MY HUSBNAD A SWEATER AND FINALLY STARTED TO COPY A LION BRAND UNSISEX PATTERN STARTED ON 9 AND THE BODY ON 10’S. WHEN I DID THE SAME SWEATER ON 10 1/2 THE BODY STRETCHED UNIMAGINABLY BIG.
PERHAPS YOU CAN TELL ME WHAT YOUR PATTERN IS LIKE AND WHAT SIZE NEEDLES, AND WHAT YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH THE YARN IS.
