Are you going to Sock Summit?
Then you need to check out the 3-pattern set Andi and I are selling at Kitchen Sink Dyeworks‘ booth (#113)! This is the “Cultivated” version of my Morel sock, which will also be published, along with its more complex version (“Wild” Morel), in my forthcoming booklet Knitgrrl CSA: Farm Fresh Knits.
So exciting! Mercedes really does some beautiful yarns, let me tell you. It’s just coincidence that this colorway happened to match the rug that was drying on my deck the day we took photos, though.
I just love that sock. I can actually feel the mushroom vibes. I can’t come to the Sock Summit and I’m sad you’ll only have the pamphlet there. Any chance you’ll make it available to blog readers or the general public? I’d definitely buy it as a download on Ravelry or direct from your site. Have a great time at the Summit and spare a few inutes to feel sorry for those of us who can’t be there!
Feel sorry for me, too! I can’t go either, but the patterns are on their way. I’ll discuss making it available after the Summit with Andi… 🙂 The Morel pattern is going to be in my new Knitgrrl CSA: Farm Fresh Knits book, though.
Dear Shannon – I hate to add to your to-do list!!!! I understand completely and thing you may have given me the same goal! But…I have fallen in love with the ball of soft rainbow colors that appears – at times- on the right corner of your wen site. Is it something you carry in your shop? Your on the MUST VISIT list for our next trip to Cleveland!! I need to bring a knitting – but non web – cousin to your shop.
Thanks for the name and color on the yarn!
FYI, Susan & everyone — that was a handpainted skein, and it can be reproduced for the right price! (mwah ha ha ha = evil laugh)
