A friend of mine has rural property full of morel mushrooms. See above photo. He found 55 under one tree, for heaven’s sake. And then he sent it to me, to taunt me! Cruel!
In other news, my boyfriend, I hate him. (Not really). He just preordered the shiny new Kindle DX. Sniff. Sniff.
And finally, last night I had a dream in which a publisher tried to recover an un-earned-out book advance by essentially hijacking another book of mine and republishing a version of it without my knowledge. So then people were congratulating me on my new book, and I’m all “new book? what new book?”…very stressful. Not as bad as the dream I had the other day about Cylons R Us, a store where you could shop for baby gear for Cylons.
I really need a vacation, don’t you think?
They better eat those mushrooms fast, before you dream up big bad cyclon babies onto them:)
Another new version of the Kindle — are you freakin’ kidding me? I just got my Kindle 2 a couple months ago! I hope they don’t keep introducing new models every 9 months — that would really tick me off. I’d prefer that they work harder on getting more books available on Kindle, especially knitting books!
