Meet the newest baby at Knitgrrl HQ!

This is Giles…

He can be distinguished from the other fur-beasts in the house, namely Spike and Anezka…

…by the fact that his eyes are greener and he doesn’t have a little white spot on his chest like Spike. It remains to be seen whether he will be a yarn-stealer like his brother, and he’s still scared of sister. He’s about a year old and was fostered by a lovely human mommy from the time he was rescued from a woodpile with his (feral) mama and the rest of his litter. We’ve had him for two and a half weeks now and he’s only just now venturing out from his various hiding places for short amounts of time. Sometimes it takes new kitties a while to adjust, so we’re being patient with him.

If he does end up a yarn-stealer like Spike, boy…I’m in for it. Spike once managed to wrap a ball of yarn all around the basement, up the stairs, around the first floor and then to the second floor…where he deposited the ball in front of my door. I shudder to think what two of them could do!

Congrats on your new furry critter!

BTW Your doxie is adorable! I have a long haired red dapple named Martini in the same postion right now on my bed (minus the cute kitty). I love how doxie “burrow” under the covers.
