Weak in the knees
Soundtrack for this post: Belinda Carlisle’s “I Get Weak.”
(Yes, I am a child of the 80s. So sue me).
Why weak-kneed? I just saw the remainder of the model photos for AlterNation. “Wow” does not begin to describe them. Several swear words placed in the middle of other words does not describe them. I don’t think I am exaggerating when I say they are my favorite book photos yet. Perhaps ever. And why? Because my friend who did them is a genius. An absolute genius with color and composition and coaxing the cutest shots out of even accidental models (quick: guess which one is the stylist who got pressed into action when a flaky model didn’t show!), at the best backdrops in the City of Angels.
(Not to be confused with, though if David Boreanaz wants to be in any of my books, I’m certainly not going to say no).
My photographer just made my Monday into Christmas.
We don’t even get to see a quarter frame from one of the shots???
Soon! I’ll post a few peeks…
80s child, if you haven’t already heard, there’s a great show on vh1 right NOW called top 100 songs of the 80s,.,.. it becomes disturbing when you realize you know all the lyrics, but in a good way.
