Though, I suppose, if you were having a “bad wool day”, this might amuse you for a while.
I just dyed the most gorgeous roving last night. It’s drying in my beloved’s basement, although I couldn’t resist snapping off a mostly dry length and spinning it this morning before he woke up. It came out exactly as planned – like a roadside in Ohio in the autumn. Lots of reds and oranges and yellows with bits of purple, green and dried-out leaf color. Pictures to come, but we’ve got exploring to do! (I’ve tried convincing him to go with me to this yarn store that wasn’t open when I left Cleveland for Boston – we’ll see how that goes).
