Twisted Sisters book is excellent!

When I was at Lucy’s for a lesson on Friday, I bought a copy of The Twisted Sisters Sock Workbook: Dyeing, Painting, Spinning, Designing, Knitting by Lynne Vogel. Lynne was the 2001 Grand Champion in Fiber Arts at the Black Sheep Gathering in Oregon…and I can see why! This is one of the best resources on dyeing I’ve found yet, not to mention socks methodology. Lucy had to reorder this book, it’s been flying off her shelves.

One of the lesson items I tackled with Lucy was getting started on the Opal sock yarn I bought in Portland at Central Yarn on an excursion with Julie. For some reason, DPs always throw me off. I needed a little prodding to get started.

Knitters, spinners, dyers and everyone in between: go get the Twisted Sisters book! No matter what your experience level, you’re sure to find something useful and fun!
