Tiennie’s 36,174-stitch Greek-style NaKniSweMo
Check it out! Says Tiennie:
This is the Greek Pullover by Sharon Shoji from the Fall 2005 issue of Interweave Knits. How do I know it was 36,174 stitches? Because I was crazy enough to keep track of my stitches in an Excel worksheet.
Wow. And I thought I was crazy! (Hey, she said it first). Isn’t that a gorgeous sweater? Love the color…and the bust detail.
Hey! How come my sweater looks so much better on your website? Thanks so much for posting my sweater – I’m all giddy and embarrassed now! Thanks for your kind words and thanks also for hosting a great KAL! I hope you do it again. Maybe next time I’ll get to the 50,000 stitches!
Magic, probably!
Next year my goal is do to a crazy-complex sweater AND a novel during November… this is where my handheld recorder and voice recognition software will come in handy!
Ooh, Tiennie–what a lovely pattern and beautiful delicate color!
Just finished mine, too! http://thepurloinedletter.blogspot.com/2006/11/end-of-november.html
Thanks so much for all the fun!
Yay I am done too!
