Lion Brand gets a bad rap sometimes, but I love their 100% wool yarns, especially for felting.
My friend Stephanie Klose works for Lion (she blogs here). Through her, I’ve had some fun adventures, including attending the infamous Martha Poncho photoshoot, and test-knitting patterns made with new colors of Lion Wool.
This photo is — judging from the color — the sample I knit! I didn’t design it, but whoever did made it really lovely, shaping-wise. Get the pattern here!
Cute hat. I agree Lion Brand gets a bad rap. I like their fisherman white yarn too.
