PBS’ing, teaching, etc

Of all the days to go downtown to tape an episode of Applause (our local PBS affiliate’s arts show), they picked St. Patrick’s Day. Now, I don’t know about where you live, but Cleveland’s parade is the third-largest in the country. And that’s just the parade, not the people getting on a bus to drink at 9:00 a.m., getting arrested and taking up all the parking spots downtown.

Ahem. I digress.

Please enjoy the resulting clip. And note that the producer told me we had time to kill, so I was rambling on and on for a reason!

Some of my cruise students asked if I’d be interested in coming to NYC to teach some stuff they wanted to learn more about, particularly steeking. If you’re in the New York area and are interested, pipe up in the comments, would you?

(Speaking of which: anyone in San Diego want me to teach during ComicCon in July? When not stalking Joss Whedon or giving Tamas one of my patented “oh no! I am surrounded by Kevin Smith look-alikes” glances, I’ll probably have plenty of time!)

re San Diego: HECK YES! Assuming I’m not on the bad-people-list for being slow to finish my SDRK project. And if you need help finding fun places to hang out when not geeking out, I can assist with that as well (mi casa is roughly 2 miles from the Con)
