OUCH, shawls, books, more

I don’t do well with stormy weather on a GOOD day, thanks to migraine fun, but this week has been exceptionally trying since I also happen to be laying out two more Cooperative Press books, and I’m getting ready for more photoshoots next week, and and and and and [there are a lot of ands, really]…
Here is a sneak preview of Anna’s book, which just went up for preorder!

As soon as I do some more photo editing, I’ll give you a peek at Alasdair’s book as well…but meanwhile he has a few item photos posted on his site. We did a really fun shoot for that book in a quarry, next to the ocean, with fire breathing models. No, I did not make that up. You’ll see.
Aww, hey, why not? What’s one more little photo edit? This one probably won’t make it into the book because the hat itself is out of focus, but check out the fire! NO, THAT WAS NOT PHOTOSHOPPED IN. Yes, she was actually doing that. I definitely had beginner’s luck, fire is notoriously difficult to capture, but my Nikon D70 was up to the job — and it looks good, too!
