Knit boombox from Knitgrrl featured on Make's blog
Check it out! You’ll notice it’s not the photo from the book, but one we took here. As mentioned in the post, I am working on some new variants of the Boombox Bag with extra shaping, etc. One’s felted, one isn’t. Both have openings in the front for the speakers, just like a “traditional” 1980s-style boombox, or Francesca Granata’s Fendi version from Seamless.
I will say, though, that I like the round Apple speakers Phil at Make was using for his boombox more than the Radio Shack ones I originally used! Might have to look for some on eBay…
