Reboux en Paris!

MANY thanks to Kate Reid for sending this adorable photo of her daughter wearing my Reboux hat pattern in front of the Eiffel Tower…

Reboux is named after the “Queen of the Milliners,” Caroline Reboux (1837-1927) who – in addition to her hat-related innovations – divided half her profits among the lead cashier, workroom director and other women in her employ. She is perhaps best known for inventing the felt cloche hat.

Very very cool. I would like to see one of my designs photographed in Paris. With me in it. 🙂
